Inflation nation: Contradictory economic reports confuse Americans struggling to afford food and pay bills

New inflation numbers are out tonight... and they’re better than many economists expected. Consumer prices rose 3.5% percent in June, down from 4.2% percent in May. The president says it’s proof the economy is strong. The Fed says the fight against inflation isn’t over. So what should American families make of it?
